Assets

Everything your games load by id (id:<number> in Studio). Every upload is reviewed by a moderator before other players see or hear it — you can preview your own while it's pending.

  • Texture — surfaces (SurfaceAppearance), decals and UI images (stored at 1024px).
  • Particle sprite — small ParticleEmitter images (128px).
  • Skybox face — one side of a Sky (stored at 1024px; set it on Lighting → Sky → SkyboxUp/Dn/Lf/Rt/Ft/Bk).
  • Sound — music and effects for Sound instances.
  • Animations & accessories publish straight from Studio (right-click an Animation in the Explorer / Avatar → Accessory Editor) and show up in this list too.
Skybox faces go on a Sky object in Studio (Lighting → Sky → SkyboxUp/Dn/Lf/Rt/Ft/Bk = the asset id).
WAV/MP3/OGG/FLAC/M4A, up to 8 MB and 2 minutes. We convert it server-side (the game never plays your original file).
